Micropiles / Helical Piers

Micropiles / Helical Piers provide the performance of concrete without the high mobilization costs and liabilities of driven or auger-cast piles and drilled shafts. This time-saving and cost-effective deep foundation solution utilizes instant torque-to-capacity feedback as a built-in means of quality control, providing quality throughout the project. Micropyles / Helical Piles are designed, tested, and proven economical solutions for applications in expansive soils, high water tables, fill areas, and other sites where unstable soils require specialized support.

Soil Nail

The CHANCE® soil screw® retention wall system reinforces earth to construct gravity walls. Its speed and bearing mode make this option a costeffective and time efficient alternative to soil nailing. In our "soil nail" application, the CHANCE® soil screw® acts in a bearing mode, instead of a grouted anchor, that relies on friction. The soil screw system removes performance uncertainties and costs associated with grouted soil nails in low shear strength soils. Backhoes and skid-steer loaders can quickly rotate the soil screws into place. Anchor size and grid spacing are designed to local soil conditions and load requirements.

Reinforced Slope

While Reinforced Slopes are similar in mechanics to a modular wall, they provide a great solution when functions drive more than aesthetics, when a vegetated face is required, or when pervious structures are required. The ability to plant a variety of grasses, vines, or other low growing plants into the face allow these structures to blend with nature. When the face of the wall will be inundated with water or the site will not allow for vegetated cover, a stone face can be utilized. These structures are often mistaken for Gabion walls. Face styles can range from vegetated to stone, with either black baskets, galvanized baskets, or graded face with erosion matting.

Temporary Plate Shoring (TPS)

ComcoreTM RoadPlate is a lightweight modular system with the ability to provide both temporary covering for holes and trenches while also doubling as shoring when needed. ComcoreTM RoadPlate is an engineer-certified replacement for heavy one-inch steel plates. Unlike steel plates, ComcoreTM RoadPlate is lightweight and can be easily carried by two people. ComcoreTM RoadPlate is ideal when lifting equipment is unavailable.

Seawall Anchor & Marine Application

Helical anchors have gained wide acceptance over traditional methods of anchoring marine structures. CHANCE® Helical anchors for marine applications include new seawall construction, retrofit of failing sea walls, bulkheads, bulkhead repair, docks, boardwalks and mooring anchors. Helical tiebacks are superior to conventional dead men because they can be installed quickly and tensioned immediately for reduced time of construction without the need for spoils clean-up. CHANCE® helical anchors are engineered to meet the specific needs of each marine project.

Ground Compaction

Vibro Soil Compaction is critical to engineered structures that use the earth or soil as a foundation for support. The soil's engineering properties, including strength, compressibility, and permeability can be improved and be more predictable with the proper degree of compaction. The soil may also be a major structural component, as in the case of earth fill dams, levees or dikes, high road fills and other embankments.

Groundwater Control

Water is one of the top elements that cause cracked and failing foundations. When water is allowed to enter the soil that your foundation is setting on, it causes soil expansion. Centerock® will evaluate the site conditions and determine the most economical solution. The technical services offered allow the owner to be more informed by an experienced certified technician with a trained eye.

Septic Systems

Centerock® offers long term solutions for a healthy long lasting septic system; we know different soils and subsurface conditions that can affect a system. Our septic systems range for gravity septic systems to complex pump septic systems. Centerock® also offers septic system repairs and septic system up grades. We even fix cracked septic tank lids and also replace septic systems and preform septic to sewer conversions.

Centerock® is Georgia State Certified to preform septic inspections and septic verification letter for Banks and Mortgage Companies; for residential and commercial onsite sewer systems/septic systems.
